The Assault baseball club was formed in 2011 and has grown from one team of six- and seven-year olds to three teams of 6-, 7- and 8-year olds. This early success of this brand is certainly due to the talent of players and the positive relationships formed not only between the players, but among the families and coaches as well.
Good communication is paramount, and our goal is to make sure all the boys understand the positions they play and how to win as a team. Every position on the field is the most important position on the field, and our boys are taught that from day one.
Our coaches have an array of baseball and coaching backgrounds, and they all have strengths that contribute to the No. 1 goal of making the boys better players and, secondly, winning baseball games. The boys come first, not the coaches or other potentially destructive agendas. We respect the game and its rules. We care for our sons and players more.
Baseball is our national pastime. It is more than a game; it is part of who we are and how we identify ourselves as a community and country. Thousands upon thousands of boys grow up playing baseball, and a select few of them have the strength and passion to play year round. Those are the boys that we want on our teams. If they have the desire and the ability, we will do our best to give them the tools and instruction to make them better players, better athletes and, more importantly, better people.
